This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll work closely with managers across the business, providing expert advice on employee relations matters, supporting organisational objectives, and helping to maintain compliance with employment legislation and regulatory requirements, including CQC standards.

About the Role

You'll support the full employee lifecycle while helping to maintain a positive workplace culture and ensuring people processes are applied consistently across the business.

You'll combine your HR expertise with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, balancing employee wellbeing with business needs whilst maintaining compliance with company policies, employment legislation and CQC requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Advise and coach managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, absence management, and capability issues.
  • Prepare and manage HR documentation, including letters, reports, investigation outcomes and hearing paperwork.
  • Support managers through formal HR processes and attend meetings where required.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR systems are updated and compliant.
  • Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Support the business in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, including CQC standards and best practice.
  • Analyse HR trends and contribute to initiatives that improve employee engagement, retention, and performance.
  • Assist with HR projects and continuous improvement activities across the wider People Team.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience managing a varied ER caseload and supporting managers through formal people processes.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple workloads effectively.
  • Confident coaching and influencing managers at all levels of the organisation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working within a regulated environment such as health and social care would be advantageous.
  • CIPD qualification or working towards a qualification is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Why Join Us?

  • Opportunity to develop your HR career within a growing and ambitious organisation.
  • Work alongside experienced leaders who are committed to supporting your development.
  • Be part of a values-led organisation dedicated to delivering outstanding care and support.

Ready to take the next step in your HR career? Apply today and play a key role in supporting our people, our managers, and the continued success of Acuity Care.
