Female Support Worker

Location: Currently living in Armthorpe, Doncaster but is moving to Crowle, Scunthorpe (Must be willing to travel to Armthorpe temporarily)

Pay rate: £14.00 per hour - Weekly or Monthly pay available
Shift pattern: Must NOT be on restricted hours

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday - 7:30am - 10:00am & 14:30pm - 19:00pm

Wednesday - 7:30am - 19:00pm

Saturday - 9:00am - 17:00pm

Sunday - 9:0am - 15:00pm

We are looking for a warm, reliable and attentive Female Support Worker to join our team supporting a sociable, fun‑loving 22‑year‑old woman with complex health needs. She lives at home with her parents, siblings and friendly pet dog, so you’ll be joining a lively, welcoming household.

She loves sensory play, pamper sessions, girlie time, and getting out and about for activities. Although non‑verbal, she communicates through facial expressions once you get to know her.

Who You’ll Be Supporting

She has a number of health needs, and you’ll receive full training to support her safely and confidently. These include:

  • Severe Epileptic Encephalopathy (vagal nerve stimulator in situ but no longer functioning)

  • Learning disability

  • Hypotonic dystonic spasms

  • Gastrostomy and fundoplication

  • Scoliosis (spinal rod surgery)

  • Registered blind – limited vision, responds to light

  • Requires oral suction

  • Full support with all aspects of daily living
