Location: Totnes, Devon

Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour

Contract: 36 hours (Day and Nights)

Shift Pattern: 09.00 am- 21.00 pm, 21.00 pm- 09.00 am

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our dedicated team, providing 1:1 support during the day and overnight to a vibrant and outgoing young gentleman living independently in his own flat in Totnes, Devon.

The person we support has Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and Non-Epileptic Attack Disorder (NEAD) and requires support with daily living, personal care, mobility, complex care, and psychological wellbeing. As a full-time wheelchair user, he relies on compassionate support to help him live as independently as possible. We are looking for someone who can provide consistent, person-centred support while promoting dignity, independence, choice, and quality of life.

Experience and Skills of a Support Worker: 

• Previous experience supporting people with physical disabilities or complex care needs.
• A person-centred approach that promotes independence and choice.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• A compassionate, reliable, and flexible approach to support.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in different situations.
• Understanding of dignity, respect, and professional boundaries.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, consistent care.
• A full UK driving licence is desirable.
