Southampton 
Pay rate : £30 p/h - Up to 24hrs per week

Pay option: weekly or monthly 

We are seeking passionate and driven Bank Nurses to support complex care packages in clients' homes across Southampton. Specialising in high-acuity care, including tracheostomy and ventilator support, this field-based role combines travel with home working.

Reporting to the Head of Clinical, you will work closely with Complex Care Managers, ICBs, and multidisciplinary teams to assess new clients, develop care plans, train and sign off support workers, and ensure safe, high-quality care delivery. You will also review and audit care packages, maintain clinical documentation, conduct client reviews, reassess staff competencies, and address clinical concerns.

As a key member of the clinical team, you will help ensure care remains person-centred, compliant with regulatory standards, and aligned with Acuity’s values, while contributing to policy development, team collaboration, and continuous service improvement throughout the Southampton area.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Commitment to ongoing CPD, with a proactive approach to learning and professional development

• Experience across varied settings including hospital, community and home-based care

• Strong background in ICU, spinal or complex care

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own diary effectively

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, with flexibility to travel up to 2 hours

• Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and service needs

• Experience working with both adult and paediatric clients
